In MIG’s ongoing effort to provide the most reliable and bug free software we routinely release updates for the IMPLAN 3 software. These updates will assure that you are using the most up-to-date software available and will fix any known issues you may be experiencing. We highly recommend that users make a habit of checking for updates at least every month. To check for updates run the IMPLAN 3 software, choose the help dropdown and click on check for updates. A wizard will guide you through the rest of the update process. The current software update is dated Feb 15, 2010. Updating takes about 30 seconds. If you should encounter any problems updating or find a bug in the IMPLAN system please let us know at

With IMPLAN Multi Regional I/O (MRIO) modeling it is possible to track the flow of all 440 IMPLAN Commodities from any county in the US to every other county in the US, allowing you to track and model how the effect of your impact in one county disperses into other counties.
