Training Workshop at EconVoyage 2018
IMPLAN is excited to announce Basic Essentials of Economic Impact Analysis, a free 90-minute workshop it will be hosting at EconVoyage, its first ever conference on input-output modeling.
This special edition workshop is an abridged version of our intensive 2-and-a-half-day Introduction to IMPLAN training course and will cover fundamental concepts like:
- What impact analysis is and how the impact calculation process works
- Important considerations when analyzing with IMPLAN
- The assumptions underlying I/O models
Oh…and did we forget to mention the best part? This workshop will be hosted by IMPLAN’s own Jenny Thorvaldson and Mark Taylor.
Jenny joined IMPLAN in 2010 and is currently serving as the Chief Economist and Director of Data Development, while Mark joined IMPLAN in 2015 and is currently our Applied Support Economist. Trust us, these guys are the best IMPLAN experts we’ve got, and they’ll be at your disposal!
Plus, take all the information home with you! Attendees to this exclusive one-off event will each receive take-home documentation on all of the material presented. So, leave your note-taking anxiety on shore and have no fear; the information will be accessible to workshop attendees long after the session and conference are over.
Basic Essentials of Economic Impact Analysis is open to any and all EconVoyage attendees. So, if you’re going to EconVoyage, then you’re invited: simple as that. For convenience, there will be two separate sessions of the workshop hosted during the conference, both occuring on 2 March 2018, but at different times: one from 10a -10:50a and another from 11a – 11:50a. However, this special workshop event will NOT happen again outside of EconVoyage, so if you haven’t registered for the conference yet, be sure to explore available pricing options HERE.
