New Features: Collaborate Like Never Before with Project Sharing and Project Transfer

Whether you’re performing an economic impact study for a business, a non-profit, or an academic institution, your ability to collaborate with your teammates is paramount. In our newest update to IMPLAN Cloud, releasing October 19th, we’re making it easier than ever before to work together with your team on an IMPLAN project.

Collaborating shouldn’t feel like a game of telephone. It’s challenging to perfectly time and crop a screenshot to show a teammate what you’re seeing. Video recordings can be hard to follow, particularly when it’s time-sensitive. That’s where our two exciting new features come in: project sharing and project transfer.

Project Sharing in IMPLAN Cloud

With project sharing, you can quickly and easily share your project with any other IMPLAN subscriber who has your project’s corresponding geographies. Project collaborators can be within your organization, or in another organization entirely.

Sharing a project is as easy as inputting an email address and clicking send. The project recipient will receive an email notification including a direct link to the project as well as instructions for locating the project in IMPLAN Cloud.

Walk through your project while applying changes as you see fit, then view results together in real time. Share your project with one person or with ten. There’s no limit.

Project Transfer in IMPLAN Cloud

Is your portion of the project complete? Are you ready to pass the project on to the next collaborator? No need to ask your Customer Success Manager to transfer the project on your behalf. Now you can transfer a project to any IMPLAN user with the corresponding geographies with the click of a button.
