IMPLAN’s trade data helps capture the interconnectedness of different regions and industries, allowing for more accurate assessments of economic impacts. Estimates of county-to-county commodity trade flow underlie key aspects of IMPLAN’s economic impact model – including regional purchase coefficients and multi-regional input-output. These data are now available for use in external analysis and applications via IMPLAN Cloud’s Data Library.
